Funnies

First of all...we got elfed! I am sure a lot of you have seen these as it has been going around...but it is hilarious and easy to do...so check out how we got elfed:

Last Friday we went on the final ride of double decker 1014 b/c of stricker emission laws starting 1/1/08...so sad. But anyway here is Tara's fabulous videography skills of Hannah enjoying her first and last ride on 1014 (and yes we are all bus nerds!)

Doubled Deck Cruising

Last I have been watching a lot of "Best of 2007" videos on MSN and found a really hilarious one of Miss South Carolina's answer to a question asked of her during the Miss Teen pagent....so sad and painful to watch but very entertaining at the same time!

Painful

Back to Reality

Well we are back at work/day care and still wishing we were at "The Happiest Place on Earth". I will post more pictures soon of our final days at Disneyland. We all had a great time and in the future we want to spend more days there. Unfortunately we never found Baloo...so sad. We searched high and low, inquired every day if he was at the park but their only response was that he is not a "winter character"...whatever that means! I didn't know that some characters only come out in the winter vs. summer...I mean come on it is LA...they really don't have that many seasons. That was one part of our trip that did not make Hannah the very happy but she fell in love with Pluto so at least he was able to take her mind off of not seeing Baloo.

Our Disneyland Adventure Continues

As our Disneyland Adventure continues...yesterday we took a day of rest b/c of our crazy drive down the other day and the crazy weather here in LA. It was so very cold, windy and raining a bit...I felt like I was in Sacramento in the winter not LA! Anyway, the Telford Family and all of us in the Morrill family decided to stroll around Downtown Disney and do a little shopping and window shopping. At our first stop at the Disney Store Hannah and Abby had fun being silly in Nemo hats:

Hannah, Tom & Abby had a lot of fun running circles in a courtyard of the The Grand Californian:

In the evening Adam & I made the suggestion of eating at the Rainforest Cafe b/c it would be fun to watch all the animals, plants, and rain showers around us when we ate. That "fun" turned into horror for Tom, Abby & Hannah as we were sitting next to a giant African Elephant that every 10-12 minutes would blow its horn and move around and terrify them. It was a fabulous dinner filled with screams of terror every 10-12 minutes from the kids. Hannah eventually somewhat got use to it but poor Tom & Abby had to leave. We all had a great dinner..ha-ha. After dinner though we went outside to check out the beautiful Christmas decorations and here are Abby & Hannah posing for a picture in front of Christmas Tree:

Today it was back to Disneyland for more fun. Since Hannah was up at 5:30am we got to the park at 7am and rode on the "Finding Nemo" submarine voyage and then we had lots of fun flying on Dumbo:

And of course we hugged a lot of Disney Characters:

We are still on the hunt for Baloo...Hannah's favorite. All she can talk about is finding Baloo and giving him a big hug. The only problem is that he is not around the park so much..why I don't know! We go everyday to the Disney City Hall b/c they can find where the characters are that day. We found out that Baloo was only appearing at the Minnie & Friends breakfast this morning (which by the way we were at on Thursday morning but Baloo was not there that day). So we went up to the Minnie & Friends breakfast and begged our way past 3 employees into the eating area promising them we did not want breakfast we just wanted to say hi to Baloo b/c that was our daughter's favorite character. Well once in we found out Baloo was on a break for some undisclosed amount of time...great. What we won't do for our kids. So tomorrow the search continues for Baloo...wish us luck!

Greetings from Disneyland!

After leaving at 2:30am on Thursday morning, Hannah being awake in the car from 2:30 - 4:30 am and us finally arriving in Disneyland at 9:30am it was well worth it. We are having so much fun in Disneyland! Hannah is just having a blast! She wants to hug all the characters and is just looking at everything with huge eyes! She loves it and we love watching her love it. Enjoy the pictures. :)

Decking the Halls

First of all, isn't this just the cutest picture you have ever seen?! I love it! These two keep getting better together every day and you can just tell they love each other even though most of the time they are torturing each other...just like real siblings...see we don't have to have another kid. :)

We have been super busy decorating our house for Christmas. Last year we didn't get a tree we didn't even put lights on our house b/c we weren't going to be here too much and Hannah was one year old and was into everything. Not that this year she is not getting into everything but she understands a little better when you tell her to put the ornament back on the tree for the millionth time! (Can you tell this has already happened a lot!) So this year I was determined it was going to be very different and I was ready to start decorating the day after Thanksgiving (Adam not so much). Below are some pictures of us decorating our tree...which by the way I believe is the best looking tree we have ever had!

And here is the beautiful finished product...TA DA!

Also here are some pictures of our outdoor decorations...I love the one with the deep blue sky.

I even decorated the mail box this year!

So all that decorating got me in the holiday spirit and now we are off to Disneyland where we are going to get so much holiday spirit, see so many Christmas decorations, and have so much fun that I just cannot wait! Now let's just hope it doesn't rain too much!

Ratatouille

Man oh man have I had hibby jibby day. The last several weeks we have heard little rat/mice feet running around in our ceilings...which as been creepy enough! So this morning Facilities finally came out and had some traps set up there. I am peacefully sitting here just before lunch and I hear a massive snap, some squeaking, and then flailing around! I FREAKED OUT! I went running out of my office screaming! My co-worker in the office next to me heard it too so we closed my door in hopes that when we go back in the flailing will have stopped. So I call our Facility peeps to come pick it up and the lady that answers the phone says to me "Are you sure there is something up there?" Of course there is I tell her! And she says "Really, b/c a lot of times it just goes off and there is nothing there". I am thinking does she want me to go up there and check?! I assure her that I heard it struggling and so she agrees to send someone out...although we are not sure when they will be able to come out...maybe not today. WHAT?! Luckily only like 15 minutes later a guy comes and disposes of the body. Well I swear to god not 10 minutes after he left another huge snap above my head goes off and more struggling and flailing ensues! Of course I run out screaming again really not wanting to return to my office at all! I can't believe that all these rats are getting caught above my office! My co-worker in the office next door has been the one that has heard them running around the most and here I am with them all being caught on my side. So I sit here waiting for someone else to come to dispose of the 2nd body. And I swear if I hear a 3rd one go off today I am going home!

More Tid Bits

Disclaimer: I apologize ahead of time for all the pictures.

On Friday at Hannah's school they had a "Feast". Hannah was in charge of bringing drinks and every kid had something to bring...it turned out really cute...

Look at the cute table decorations!

Too much Turkey!

Getting the sugar levels back up after nap time and really enjoying pumpkin pie.

Workin' off some of that sugar playing outside as an Indian?

Then on Saturday we had the final Aggie football game here at Aggie Stadium. Uncle, Scott, Cousins Kathryn & Krystina, and Nali joined us for the game and boy was it a good one! We were winning the whole time until with 30 seconds left University of San Diego got ahead and I thought for sure we had lost! But then we drove it down the field and with only 8 seconds left we got another touch down and won 49 to 46! An amazing win and a great way to end our season.

The happy celebrating field after the game:

The on Sunday we went to Apple Hill where Hannah got to ride some ponies and after many requests from Hannah - got to eat some more pumpkin pie. She really likes that pumpkin pie!

The before:

And after pumpkin pie shot:

And the pony ride (this was the second pony ride):

In other news...our Women's Basketball team just got back from Hawaii where they played in a tournament and won it! Check out this awesome trophy...I have never seen anything like it before.

And it even has a little butt in the back...too cute!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Baloo!!

This morning in my attempts to get ready on time and out the door I sat Hannah down to watch "The Jungle Book"...no not the whole movie just a clip where the Elephants march in and then where Baloo sings "The Bear Necessities". She has seen this small portion of the movie before b/c in our attempts to get her ready for Disneyland in only 3 weeks we are having her watch some Disney movies that she can identify with b/c we listen to Disney music all the time. One of her favorite songs on the CD is this elephant march from "The Jungle Book" movie. For those of you that don't remember or have never seen the movie, after Baloo sings "The Bear Necessities" to Mowgli the monkeys come in and snatch Mowgli away and throw fruit at Baloo to stop him from coming at them and then basically roll him down a hill. Yes I know it is all not very nice...but we all know Disney is famous for having these scenes in their movies. Anyway, like I said, Hannah has seen this scene before and is well aware that afterwards he climbs out and goes to get Mowgli and ends up dancing with the monkeys. But today as I am getting ready I hear a huge scream "MOMMEEEEE!" and then huge tears that follow. I come running into the living room thinking Tulip did something to Hannah but Tulip is every so peacefully sleeping on her bed. I frantically ask her "What's wrong?!" and she looks up at me with her water filled eyes, points to the TV, and cries "BALOO!!". So I look to the TV and there is Baloo getting pelted with fruit by the monkeys and being knocked down a hill. Poor thing! She felt sorry for Baloo and was so sad about it! I quickly reminded her that he is o.k. and that Baloo gets right up and goes to get Mowgli from the monkeys and ends up having fun and dancing with them. Luckily she remembers and recovers and then is happy again...but I sure did feel sorry for her at that moment. I totally can see how she feels sorry for him...I know I do and in her little world it is actually happening...poor thing. I think Disney movies might be a challenge in the future b/c as we all know there is always something sad that happens in a Disney movie.

Little Tid Bits

Privacy Please

Last night I put Hannah on the potty before going into the shower...which is what I always do. Usually she commands me to sit down on the ground in front of her and wait until she is done. Well last night she asked me to leave the bathroom and close the door! I was quite shocked! At 2 years old she is requesting privacy!?...yeah the teenage years are going to be lots of fun. I of course did not close the door all the way and was peeking in. She was singing and talking to her self and as Daddy would say "Pushing it Out". :) I was cracking up! Finally she heard me laughing outside the door and "let" me come back inside. Well folks, she had successfully pooped! Just a little but it still counts! I guess all she needs it privacy in the future to do her "business" b/c pooping has been a problem on the potty. Anyway, the whole ordeal cracked me up. And I apologize to those of you who I grossed out with my bathroom story.

Aggies Won the Causeway!

Thank god the Ags won the Causeway Classic. I was beginning to get a bit nervous with the season we've had. The game was a little long...3 1/2 hours and I must say I was so proud of Hannah for sitting through the whole thing! She only got a little antsy at the end and wanted to run around on the bleachers. She is our little Aggie. :) Enjoy this little video of her cheering for the Ags...she really gets into it:

Late Halloween Pictures

Hannah the Penguin:

We went trick or treating downtown again this year. It was crazy busy down there but we had a lot of fun. We met up with Tara, Tom & Abby and Hannah's friend from school Sydney and her mom Susan. Our little penguin sure was tired at the end of the night but got a lot of good chocolate. :) Last night she tried her first lollipop from her loot and really quite enjoyed it. It was really funny to see her licking the lollipop with her tongue until she finally figured out that sucking it works much better.

Happy Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Little ghosts and goblins got into our Volvo engine and suck all the juice from the alternator, which then killed the car. :( What a nice way to start the morning.

Busy Bees This Weekend

What a very busy weekend we had. In our very fun and busy weekend we saw Sydney 3 times! Hannah and Sydney were thrilled. We started out our weekend at the Farmer's Market Harvest Festival where we met Sydney for a pony ride and a ride on the Merry-Go-Round.

After that we went to the UCD Homecoming Football Game to cheer on the Ags...but they lost and lost the 37 year winning streak. :(

The next day we went to the pumpkin patch with Sydney again. We spent over 2 hours there petting the animals, running in hay mazes, dancing on hay bales, running in the pumpkin patch, and going on a tractor ride.

Hannah & Sydney getting their groove on:

Hannah in love with a kitten...too bad we can't have one (Adam & I are deathly allergic & Tulip would probably eat it).

Some more grooving going on:

After the pumpkin patch & a nap we were off to Marie's 1st b-day party...it was a costume party so Hannah got to try on her penguin costume and her "waddle":

At the party we had a lot of fun painting pumpkins and Daddy got to carve a pumpkin. It turned into quite a project but he successfully cut out a Winnie the Pooh face onto a pumpkin using a template. I don't have the after shot but I will get it on Halloween night...it looks fabulous! Hannah couldn't stop saying "Thank you Daddy". It was the sweetest thing ever and even though Adam worked up a sweat carving this pumpkin...and I don't think he had too much fun...Hannah's constant thanks yous made it all worth it. :)

Adam concentrating real hard!

Daddy & Hannah working as a team...

All that hard work deserves a reward. :)
