STOLEN!!!

I am livid!! Some A-HOLE stole my bike trailer that I tote Hannah around in. I had a flat tire on Friday night and so I had to leave my bike on campus. Well when I got here today my trailer was gone. That thing is like $300!!!! I called the police to file a report...not like they are going to find it, but just for the principle of it, and they said that it is very rare that they get those reported as stolen. What jerk would do that???!! I am just so mad right now!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!! It has a rip on top from where I flipped it before (not with Hannah in it) so I will know it if I see it and boy that person will be sorry they took it...if I even run into the bastard.

UPDATE: I found out the theft occurred Friday night b/c one of our faculty was here early Saturday morning and did not see my trailer and he knows my trailer, so at least even if I had got here earlier in the weekend it still would not have helped. Also thank goodness I had enough brains to call my work on Friday and have them remove my helmet & Hannah's from the back so at least that was not stolen...but I am still pissed!!!

Happy Birthday Adam & Happy Mother's Day to Me!

Today is Adam's birthday...although we are not celebrating with him until tomorrow b/c he isn't here very much today due to work and hanging out with the Masons tonight. We already had to give him his gifts yesterday though b/c Hannah already told him all about them. That girl can't keep a secret to save her life! So b/c he already knew all about them, he might as well see them rather then keep hearing about them.

On Saturday night we went out to dinner at Ludy's BBQ in Woodland and they had a live band there. Hannah enjoyed dancing and twirling in her dress.

Here is a picture of me and my girls from that dinner. I am teaching Hannah how to use her finger...she is good at it. :)

For Mother's Day I got flowers to put in a vase and to plant in the garden. I also got lovely cards, a magnet Hannah made at school and coupons from Adam for weekend night out, a weekday night out and a weekend afternoon off that all need to be used by June 30th...so I better get out there and have some fun! :) We also went for a walk around the Arboretum, went to Jamba Juice and had cow ice cream as Hannah calls it...it is actually Ben & Jerry's. When we got home Hannah decided to dress Samantha, herself and I up as princesses...don't we look lovely:

Here we are about 5 seconds later...can you tell Samantha has had enough.

At night the girls both went down easily and to bed before 7pm so I could relax and watch my Amazing Race finale...all in all it was a very nice day.

To close this post here are 2 of my favorite pictures of Samantha so far and a picture of Hannah and a classic grouchy face of hers when you know she is not happy with you:

Happy 100th Post to Me!

Wow! I can't believe I am up to 100 posts! In celebration of my 100th post I would like to announce that Samantha got her first tooth the day after she turned 4 months old last week. Here she is sucking her 2 favorite fingers to sooth her poor little aching gums from those teeth coming in.

In other happy news, Samantha has just now at 4 months started to enjoy the pacifier and not gag on it. I had not tried to give it to her for several months now b/c all she use to do was gag on it but apparently that is over. Bottle feeding it still not going well, she just wants the Mom. Hopefully now that her aversion to gagging on fake nipples is over, tomorrow we will try to give her the same bottle we use to give Hannah and hopefully that will work better then the little infant bottle/nipple we have been giving her so far.

Every Tuesday at school Hannah goes to Music Matt's class where they dance, sing, and learn about a new instrument every week. A couple of weeks ago I went to pick up Hannah and as I walked into the school lobby and there was Hannah learning to play the cello with Music Matt. Apparently he couldn't find her for his group class...well actually the other kids told him Hannah had already gone home, but that is what he gets for listening to 3 & 4 year olds. So b/c she couldn't find her, he gave her a private lesson in the lobby.

I just love this picture.

Samantha is enjoying interacting more and more each day with Hannah. Before she use to just look annoyed when Hannah talked to her or man handle her but now when she sees Hannah she smiles and talks to her. Hannah talks to her too and teaches her important things like when she gets older she will like boys and get married. Amazing the things they learn in school.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!
