Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This weekend we were suppose to go to Sea Ranch with the Telford Family but could not go b/c Adam got pretty sick the week before last and ended up using what time off he had left. But as it turns out the Telford Family sounds like they were pretty sick in Sea Ranch so it is a good thing we did not join them...although I still really want to go to Sea Ranch one of these days. Anyway to make up for not going we decided to plan an adventurous weekend ourselves.
Day one we drove to Concord and took BART from there to SF and went to the Bay Aquarium by Pier 39. It was fun and Hannah enjoyed looking at the fish...especially the Dori & Nemo looking fish. She didn't want to touch anything in the Touch Pools but Adam & I had fun touching the sharks, sting rays, and sea anemones. After that we checked out the seals at Pier 39, had some crab mac & cheese (it was SOOOO good!) and then Adam & Hannah checked out the submarine. Here are some pics from that day:

On Day 2 since Hannah had so much fun riding on BART we drove to Concord again and then caught BART again back to SF...this time to the Civic Center for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. That was fun too. The parade was interesting although it was way too long...over 2 hours! It could have been shorter if people didn't leave big gaps between floats/bands/etc. As our friend said...drunk people walk slow...no kidding! There were some fun playgrounds at the Civic Center Park too that Hannah enjoyed playing at. Here are the pics from that day:

Our silly family picture:

Hannah all in green...

Now this was an interesting sign...usually children aren't allowed places unless accompanied by an adult:

Today for St. Patrick's Day I added green dye to Hannah's milk and she loved it! About 10 seconds after I took this picture she knocked over this glass and green milk went everywhere!! After we cleaned it up about a minute later Hannah knocked over her cereal bowl and milk AND cereal went everywhere. Apparently she was having clumsy morning but Tulip enjoyed cleaning both up. I also made her milk for school green and when we got to school Hannah told everyone that she had green milk. Here she is with her green milk:

In our final news for the weekend our snail "Sam" who cleans our fish tank that our Beta Fish "Flash" lives in gave birth to a tiny tiny snail...probably no bigger then my pinky tip. He is so cute and we have named him "Spud". He was very active this weekend cruisin' around the tank. Flash is probably not thrilled to have another snail in his tank but oh well. Spud is so small that I couldn't take a good picture of him so when he gets bigger I will post it. Hannah loves having a baby snail!

That is so awesome Nicole - you guys had a great weekend! I love that you took two fun excursions to SF - way to take advantage of living so close (we need to do that more often).
