Samantha's Eating!!

So for about a month now Samantha has just been starring at us while we eat and opening and closing her mouth sometimes...it has been really sad to watch her. She looks at us as if "Why can't I have some of that?". So initially we thought we weren't going to feed her until 6 months but I thought she was more then ready to eat early...turns out I was right!

This morning we gave her her first bowl of baby oatmeal cereal and the girl ate it all without even spilling too much out. She loved it! She was kicking her feet with excitement and opening her mouth real wide ready for the next spoonful...here are some pictures from that momentous event:







In July Samantha starts daycare 2 days a week and my goal is to have her sitting before she starts...she is getting close!!

As for rolling over, Samantha has no interest in rolling from her belly to her back, which is usually what comes first for little ones, but she is doing her best to roll from her back to her belly...although she only does it to one side:
