This weekend on Saturday was my dad's birthday. My mom & dad came up for dinner and we baked my dad a cake. On someone's birthday or pretty much any day Hannah likes to run around yelling "It's a party day! It's a party day!". It is quite funny.
Hannah is also funny when it comes to wind. She feels that either she will blow away or sometimes it could also be her hair or her barrettes...hilarious. If you go outside and it is windy like it has been she grabs you really tight and holds on for dear life screaming "I don't blow away!". And then as I said sometimes she grabs her hair or barrettes and is so worried that they won't blow away. I think she has been watching or reading a little too much Winnie the Pooh. For those of you not familiar with Winnie the Pooh...a big wind storm comes along and sweeps up Pooh & Piglet and carries them to Owl's house.
On Monday Adam decided to take Hannah out to go fly her Winnie the Pooh kite. They had called me at work just before they were going to go and Hannah tells me she is going to sit in the stroller so she doesn't blow away. Later that evening she kept looking outside the window and saying "It's a blustery day out there!". Again more evidence that she watches/reads too much Winnie the Pooh. And Adam reports again today that as they went to Nugget and to school Hannah was telling everyone she sees that "It's a blustery day out there!". Kids come up with the greatest phrases!
Last here is a picture of Hannah eating her spagehetti at Bistro 33 for my dad's b-day. She was shoveling it down and then the next day she was shoveling it down again. I decided to try this spagehetti to see how good it tastes and I quickly discovered why she was throwing it down like chocolate...it tasted like it had about several cups of sugar in it...it was so sweet! And if I say something is sweet you know it is.
