So Sick

Thursday I went to work and lasted only about 2 hours when I had to go home b/c I was freezing and on the verge of throwing up. It came on so fast! I got home, cranked up the heat got under 4 blankets and was still shaking b/c I was so cold...clearly I had a fever but I was too cold to get out of bed to take my temp. Along with having a fever I threw up...fun times!! It was horrible! When I was in the bathroom throwing up, Tulip came by, took a look at me, and ran. It was quite funny. I haven't been this sick since Hannah was in the hospital in Dec 2006. Luckily my mom was coming up that day to pick Hannah up from school already b/c she had been in Brazil since mid December and hadn't seen Hannah for a month and a half! When my mom came home with Hannah I was laying in my bed just feeling terrible. Hannah jumped on the bed and said "Mommy Get Up!". I told her I was sick and I was going to stay in bed. So with a worried face she said again "Mommy get up!". Again I told her I couldn't and now she looked really worried. She said "I lay here with you". I told her to go play with my mom but she refused! She literally crawled under the covers with me and laid there frozen with me. Now keep in mind the girl usually can't sit still and she was just laying next to me absolutely still. It was so sweet and she was so worried about me b/c she had never seen me like this but at that moment I just wanted to be alone! I let her lay there for about 5 minutes and then I had to pick her up and drag her kicking and screaming from my bed into the living room. She was yelling "Mamacita! Mamacita! (yes she calls me that now from time to time) in complete hystarics. I felt horrible and my mom looked scared but I just dropped her in the living room and ran back to my room and locked the door. I was just so exhausted and I knew she would stop crying in a little bit...which she did. All it took was for my mom to read to her and then I could go back to sleep...ahh.
The next day I felt much better, well at least my stomach and fever did, but I was still very weak and had to stay home from work. Hannah was again so sweet and thoughtful, the first thing she said in the morning was "Mommy how is your belly? Belly o.k?". It was so cute! While it was nice to have another day of rest I was suppose to go that day to a Creative Memories convention in San Jose and have a nice dinner and a night of scrapbooking with the girls which I had been looking forward to for 2 months and I could not go to. I had to wait and go on Saturday which was still fun but it would have been more fun to go and spend the night...oh well.
So now I am back at work feeling almost 100%. Some food still bothers me...I don't know what it was that I had but I hope none of you get it! :)
